My Story

Hi! My name is Emily Louis, and I am the founder of Emily Louis, Virtual Assistant, LLC. I am a former high school teacher of 13 years, and I started my professional career in the education realm. After graduating from The University of North Florida in 2014, with a degree in Social Studies Education, I knew that I was on the right path to help others thrive and succeed. After 11 years in the classroom, I left to become a training specialist for new teachers in Duval County, Florida. Even in this new role, the desire to help others remained, but I felt a strong desire to be back in the classroom. I decided to return and spent another two years teaching before finally discovering that while my passion is helping others, that lens has focused on who I should be helping the most-my family!

I decided to become a Virtual Assistant in 2026 while my husband was deployed in Eastern Europe-at the same time, I was 9 months pregnant creating a business! My experience of bringing a new baby into the world, while teaching full time, raising a 5-year-old daughter, and with a deployed husband, taught me that time + family matters. While I will always love teaching and helping students reach their potential, I now get to create intentional space in my family and life, while helping YOUR business thrive + grow.
